Basic video production and filmmaking is where I began. I have over a decade of experience creating at only 19 years old. I’m well-rounded in many different styles of production such as live broadcast, news segments, documentary, YouTube style, commercial, music video, narrative, and more. I have tons of experience in general video production overall, from personal to professional. For example:

  • My own gaming YouTube channel with professional, well-produced content (16,000+ subscribers & 2.5+ million views)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Radio/Television/Film at the age of 19, graduating from Rowan University

  • Very extensive knowledge of video/film production equipment & terminology (such the in’s and out’s of cameras and editing software)

    • This includes everything that comes with non-linear editing, such as rendering/encoding, software mastery, etc

  • Worked for several production companies to shoot live events such as sports, dance recitals, etc

  • Was a part of my high school’s TV program for all 4 years, where the last 2 years I made a monthly well-produced news segment. This was a big part of improving my skills to a professional level. During my senior year, I was elected by my teacher to be the producer of the show that year

  • Shot, technical directed, and directed 50+ live three-camera setup broadcasts for my high school such as graduation, football games, etc

  • Very extensive knowledge and experience with the three step production process (preproduction, production, post production)

  • 4+ Years of experience writing scripts in news format and in standard screenplay format

…And more! All of this is only accounts for basic all around video production that I’ve done over the years. That doesn’t include the thousands of hours that I spent learning on my own and teaching myself how to edit, shoot, and develop the rest of the skills that I go more in depth about below. I am currently fluent in the programs:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Adobe After Effects

  • Adobe Photoshop

  • Adobe Audition

I am familiar with and have access to many more, such as Davinci Resolve 16. I also own a copy of the popular plugins Red Giant Complete & Element 3D.

motion.png

My interest in motion graphics dates back to watching TV as a child and being amazed by the moving text in commercials. Animation always blew my mind, and I never thought I would get anywhere near creating something like I’ve seen on TV. My beginning with this skill started about 2016, and skyrocketed when I purchased an Adobe Creative Cloud license in late 2017. Since then, I’ve gained tons of experience. I also took a motion graphics course during winter of 2019, which made me realize that this is one of if not my favorite skill. Motion design is a definite route I want to pursue in my career, and I seek to master it over the course of the next few years. My experience and abilities with motion graphics include:

  • Extensive experience with high-speed workflows in Adobe After Effects

  • Extensive experience with and access to Element 3D plugin by Video Copilot

  • 6 years of experience in advanced keyframing, translating both to 2D and 3D animation

  • I’ve created many intro sequence animations in many different styles for my personal content and for clients

  • I’ve created a plethora of other test videos to learn and improve my skills overall

  • Experience using many principles of graphic design such as balance, alignment, space, hierarchy, contrast, etc

Visual Effects are similar to, but not the same as motion graphics. VFX are more of an artform, that involve compositing elements into a scene and making them look great in your shot. VFX peak my interest about just as much as motion graphics, having been shooting action scenes with my friends since 2010. I don’t have any VFX professional experience yet, but a lot of experience and knowledge that I have gained on my own projects and my own time. With my access to Red Giant Complete and hundreds of dollars worth of ActionVFX stock footage (bullet hits, blood hits, muzzle flashes, etc), my possibilities are limitless. My abilities and experience include:

  • Everything mentioned above in the motion graphics section applies here

  • Ability to composite stock footage & 3D models into a 3D scene and make it look real (photorealism)

  • Experienced in creating digital scenes and digital 3D landscaped via Red Giant Complete

  • Ability to create endless possibilities of particle engines (digital snow, rain, sparks, fireworks, fluid, etc)

  • I haven’t gotten into it yet, but I plan on learning and becoming well rounded in blender very soon

A Little Statement

This is the end of this page! I tried my best to hit all of my key points as concisely as possible, but probably missed some things here and there. I want to note that I have tons of improving to do and I am far from where I want to be on my path to becoming a professional generalist. Some things I am way closer to mastery than others, but I will definitely keep working hard on improving myself in all areas. If you read this, thanks for making it here. <3
